USWNT to announce World Cup roster

The United States women’s soccer team will take its next step toward repeating as world champions on Thursday afternoon when it announces its roster for the 2019 Women’s World Cup.

While many of the places on the 23-person roster appear secure — especially in light of Hulu’s guerella marketing campaign with Carli Lloyd, Christen Press, Julie Ertz and others — there are some questions from a Florida-perspective.

Will Orlando Pride fullback, and 2015 Women’s World Cup stalwart, Ali Krieger make the 2019 roster?

What is the status of Satellite Beach native, and Orlando Pride goalkeeper, Ashlyn Harris?

Will former Florida State defender Casey Short play significant minutes this summer?
