Undefeated Doral Academy is statewide No. 1 for second time

The Florida High School Athletic Association instituted a new playoff format this season with the aim of fielding a more competitive postseason and state tournament.

As high school soccer approaches the business end of the season, Official Florida FC will provide a rundown of the top varsity programs in the state.

Once again Doral Academy and Niceville switched spots atop the statewide rankings. The Firebirds and Eagles are among the eight unbeaten teams in Florida.

Doral Academy and nearby Reagan High School are the only two unbeaten and untied boys soccer teams in the state.
