Tuesday morning, the Florida Dairy Farmers announced its finalists for Miss Soccer and Girls Soccer Coach of the Year.

Vero beach forward Madelaine Rhodes repeated as the Player of the Year in her classification. The University of Florida signee scored 50 goals and assisted 13 others to help the Indians finish 18-2 and advance to the Class 7A state finals. Rhodes, was the Class 5A Player of the Year in 2019.

The other five Players of the Year in their classification all led their teams to state championships.

Mia Atrio scored Miami Lourdes Academy’s game-winning goal in the Class 6A semifinal and final.

Archbishop McCarthy’s Jordyn Pitter helped the Mavericks win the Class 5A state championsship. The UCF signee marshaled a defense that conceded 13 goals in 25 games.

Jacksonville Bishop Kenny’s Chloe Iuliano helped the Crusaders win the Class 4A state championship. She scored 18 goals and assisted 13 others.

Jacksonville Bolles senior Olivia Candelino scored an outstanding 41 goals and assisted 39 others to lead the Bulldogs to a third straight state championship.

In Class 2A, Paige Crews earned Player of the Year honors after the Spartans won their ninth straight state championship this season.

All seven players are finalists for Florida’s Miss Soccer award, which will be announced on March 23. The Florida Coach of the Year will also be announced on that date.
