St. Johns County trio maintains stranglehold at top of statewide rankings

The FHSAA girls soccer rankings have remained in stasis for most of the season, because the top teams in the state continue to win. St. Johns Bartram Trail and North Fort Myers remain undefeated, despite playing challenging schedules. The Bears and Red Knights were the top two teams in the FHSAA rankings that were released on Jan. 18.

St. Johns County neighbors Ponte Vedra and St. Johns Creekside flipped places after the two teams tied 1-1 on Jan. 13. Lower in the Top 10, 10-time reigning state champion St. Johns Country Day slipped a spot after a 1-0-1 week that featured a 1-1 draw against statewide No. 7 Orlando Bishop Moore on Jan. 13.
