The 23 women who changed soccer, and women’s sports, by helping the United States win the 1999 Women’s World Cup were celebrated by the U.S. Soccer Federation prior to the USWNT’s contest against Belgium.
The Americans won 6-0 to extend its unbeaten streak to six games — four wins, two draws.
