Florida Elite Soccer Academy launched a USL League Two team in 2019. The club, based in St. Johns, was one of eight Florida clubs to feature in USL-2 this summer.
The Villages SC topped USL-2’s Southeast Division with 31 points (9-1-4). Following Florida Elite’s 2-1 win over The Villages on May 18, the league leaders went on a 13-game unbeaten run.
Florida Elite (7-4-3) finished fourth in the eight-team Southeast Division with 24 points.
